This is a ancient recipe over 2000 years old. A Roman physician by the name of Galen created and since many versions has appeared and in some what ruined it by the additions of preservatives and fillers to make the cream behave.

This recipe is going back to the original but replacing the rosewater with honey and the addition of rose essential oil. Simply because with added water I would need a preservative for good shelf life.

Only 5 ingredients in it shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, honey & rose essential oil. Its a vanishing cold cream in the olden days used to clean the skin. With the added benefits of honey and rose you can use it as a cleanser, day, night, mask, lip or ointment on dry patches.

Of course it doesn’t behave in summer so put it in a cool place as it is all natural and all oils so it can melt a little and in winter it will go hard so keep in a warmer place or just be aware!! You can whip it back up yourself with a fork if it annoys you and you want it softer. It can also form little crystals that melt upon applying in severe temperature change DON’T be alarmed its the nature of natural creams and still works and has a great shelf life as there is no water involved.
